#E104 Rare Walnut Parlor Ice Box
Very unusual walnut parlor ice box with ICE WATER DISPENSER! Ornate Eastlake style butterprint carvings through out. Beveled mirror back with turned spindle galleriy Lift up lid on top for ice storage in porcelain lined compartment (which has deteriorated over the years). The ice kept the food storage compartment areas cold and as the ice melted, the bottom center door opens to reveal the water spout... you push the water spout down and the water flowed out. In that same middle compartment there is a metal tag that says" "Enoch S. Farson, Pat. March2, 1886". The ice box door handles still have the original, ornate solid brass hardware.
